About Mrs. Bresnahan
I look forward to my 10th year at St. Christina School. I have been a parishioner for 26 years, and my four children have all graduated from St. Christina. You will often see me around the neighborhood walking my dog, Leo. My youngest son, Kevin, attends college at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. My other son, Sean, is a building engineer at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Chicago. He has recently bought a home in St. Christina Parish. My daughter Megan and her husband Matt also have a house in St. Christina Parish. She is a social worker for P.L.O.W.S. in Palos Hills, IL. My oldest daughter, Erin, is an occupational therapist. She is married to a police officer,Ivan, and they reside in our parish too. I love that they have chosen to stay close to home! Grandma is what I was meant to be and I enjoy every minute with my buddy, Gavin, and my princesses Clare and Grace. My husband, Ray, is retired from the Chicago Fire Department. I am looking forward to a great 2016-2017 school year!

Our Year at a Glance
Communications Class
When the students hear Communications Class they wonder what it means. Over the last few years we have developed a writing class to help better prepare the students in drafting essays and answering questions. Most standardized tests have a writing component and we feel it is important that our students understand how to develop a formal response.
We will be exploring the writing process along with the four major purposes for writing: to inform, to persuade, to describe, and to narrate.
